TORONTO, ON – Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Josephena Sampson of Stoney Creek. She matched all seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the June 11, 2021 LOTTO MAX draw to win $1 million!
Josephena said she is not a regular lottery player and it was her son who discovered her big win. “He was at the store checking all the family’s tickets when he saw the Big Winner screen appear,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings. “He came straight home and told me to get in the car. I had no idea what was going on!”
Josephena said when they got to the store the machine froze and she was questioning if it was real. “It took a few days for it to sink in. This feels truly amazing. It means the world to me to share this with my kids.”
She plans to share with her children and plan a family trip to celebrate. “We’ll see what the future holds!” she concluded.
ENCORE offers 22 ways to win and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1. There is an ENCORE draw every day.
