TORONTO, ON – Karen Whiteford of Strathroy is $1 million richer after winning the top prize with INSTANT BIG 10 (Game #2057).
Karen says she enjoys playing INSTANT games, LOTTO 6/49 and LOTTARIO. “I’ve won small prizes on INSTANT BIG 10 before,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her cheque.
The 68-year-old says she woke up at 2:30 a.m. and couldn’t sleep so decided to play her INSTANT games. “I had to get my magnifying glass to check I actually won $1 million!”
She shared the good news with her sister. “Her jaw dropped when I told her – she is very happy!”
Karen says she plans to help her family with her win, purchase a car, complete some small renovations and treat herself to some pizza. “I will use some for Christmas presents,” she smiled.
