Toronto, ON – Tonya Nevill of Kitchener and Noel Lewis of Cambridge have that “6/49 feeling” after winning a Guaranteed $1 Million Prize in the January 29, 2022 LOTTO 6/49 draw. They also won $5 on another one of their LOTTO 6/49 selections, bringing their total winnings to $1,000,005!
The pair of coworkers who work in the automotive industry, have been playing the lottery together for three months. “We went to the store to purchase more tickets and decided to check our tickets from previous draws. Tonya thought we won $1,000 but I knew it was $1 million. I was shocked,” shared Noel while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up their winnings. “We were jumping up and down!”
Tonya plans to pay some bills and save her portion of the winnings for her children’s education. Noel will pay some bills, invest, and save some for his children.
“This win really does help us,” concluded Tonya.
