Toronto, ON – The LOTTO MAX odds have shone in favour of Mir Alam Adam Ali of Aurora! He won a MAXMILLIONS prize worth $1 million in the May 31, 2022, LOTTO MAX draw.
Mir says he is an occasional lottery player and usually purchases tickets when the jackpot is big. “This is my first big win,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.
Mir says he was having lunch when he decided to check his tickets using the OLG App. “I was shocked when I discovered this win. I didn’t believe it! I had to take a closer look,” he said. “I immediately called my wife to share the big news and she thought I was joking!”
“I feel so blessed. This money will go a long way for my family,” Mir smiled.
He plans to put his win toward his children’s education and celebrate with a nice dinner.
