Toronto, ONFrank Jarman of Etobicoke has that “6/49 feeling” after winning a LOTTO 6/49 top prize worth $6 million in the June 4, 2022 LOTTO 6/49 draw.

Frank, who is self-employed, says he has been a regular lottery player since the late 70’s. “I was at my regular store doing my lottery business, when I checked my ticket using the ticket checker,” Frank explains. “When I saw $6 million appear on the screen I jumped back, and then checked it again. I didn’t believe what I was seeing so I asked the store clerk for a printout of the winning numbers.”

Frank said when he compared the winning numbers to his, he realized how he won. “My wife saw the look on my face and asked what happened and I said, ‘I think we can retire!'” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre to pick up his big cheque.

Frank plans to invest and complete some home renovations with his winnings. “I’ll take some time for this to settle in before making any big decisions.”

“I feel so blessed and extremely fortunate,” he smiled. “I always said five or six million is just the right amount.”

LOTTO 6/49 players in Ontario have won over $13.7 billion in prizes since 1982, including 1,421 jackpot wins and 422 Guaranteed $1 Million Prize draws. LOTTO 6/49 is $3 per play and draws take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
