Toronto, ON – Marek Lewandowski of Mississauga can “find his possible” after winning $5 million in the LOTTO 6/49 Classic Jackpot on March 1, 2023.
Marek, a 50-year-old father, said he is a regular lottery player and scanned his ticket a couple days after the draw. “I thought I won $5,000 at first, but after a closer look I realized it was a $5 million win. I was calm but excited – I scanned it another four times. I was so amazed!” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his windfall.
The construction worker said he’s still having a hard time believing he won. “Even though I have this cheque – it’s still hard to comprehend. It’s just amazing.”
He doesn’t have any major plans yet. “I want to calm down and really put some thought into it before making any decisions,” Marek concluded.
