TORONTO, ONLuigi Zomparelli of Woodbridge won “Ontario’s jackpot” – $399,497.80 in the April 2, 2022 LOTTARIO draw.

Luigi, a 74-year-old retiree, said he’s been playing the lottery since the very beginning. “I play LOTTARIO regularly – this ticket was a free play!” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I was having my coffee, checking my tickets when I realized I had three numbers right off the bat. When I saw I had all six numbers I couldn’t believe it.”

The father and grandfather headed to the store to verify in the ticket checker. “I’ve never won anything like this before – it’s hard to believe it’s actually true.”

He plans to share with family and possibly treat himself to a new car.

OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
