Toronto, ON – Amanda Miller of Gananoque has $373,118.20 to put toward her dreams after winning a LOTTO MAX second prize in the April 1, 2022 draw. She also won $2 on another one of her LOTTO MAX selections bringing her total winnings to $373,120.20.
Amanda, 39, said she’s an occasional lottery player who plays Quick Picks with ENCORE on a whim. “This ticket was the last of four I checked – when Big Winner appeared I was shocked and thought the ticket checker was broken,” she said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings. “When I told my father and partner, neither of them believed me at first,” she said.
Amanda said this win feels a little scary. “It’s a very big responsibility and I want to do it right for my kids. Their future is so important to me as a single mom, and I want to give them any and every opportunity.”
She plans to put her winnings away for her kid’s education and save some for her retirement.
