Toronto, ON – Andy Badrinarain of Ajax has that “6/49 feeling” after winning a Guaranteed $1 Million Prize in the August 10, 2022 LOTTO 6/49 draw. He also won $10 on another one of his LOTTO 6/49 plays bringing his total winnings to $1,000,010.
Andy, a 38-year-old driver, said he’s been playing replaying the same ticket for the past three years. “I checked my ticket on the OLG App and had to scan it multiple times after that,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I had to call OLG to make sure it was actually real. I was shocked when I realized it was!”
Andy said he told his brother who didn’t believe it until he checked the numbers himself.
He plans to pay some bills, invest, and take a vacation. “It is surreal – it brings joy and a mix of other emotions,” he concluded.
