TORONTO, ON – Robert Tanner of Pickering is $1 million richer after winning with INSTANT ULTIMATE (Game #2397). Robert is one of the top prize winners from the draw held on January 4, 2024.
Robert, who is retired from IT, said he is a regular player of INSTANT games and heard about ULTIMATE this year, so he decided to give it a try.
“I just woke up and scanned my ticket on the OLG app and thought I won $1,000. I took a second look and realized it was $1 million. I still couldn’t believe it – I had a shower and went back to it again.”
Robert said there was a lot of disbelief at first. “The more I talked about it the more excited I would get. My kids have been a very grounding force for me – they’ve kept me smiling and my head in an appropriate amount of clouds!”
He plans on sharing with his children and treating his grandchildren to something fun. “I also plan on treating myself to a sunny and warm vacation on the beach,” he concluded.
