Toronto, ON – Anthony Blay-Morkeh of Brampton has that “6/49 feeling” after winning a LOTTO 6/49 second prize worth $296,732.00 in the March 27, 2021 draw.
Anthony says he has been playing the lottery for 40 years. “I won $6,200 with LOTTO MAX eight year ago,” he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “This ticket was a Free Play which ended up being a winner!”
The retired warehouse worker checked his tickets on OLG.ca the night after the draw. “I saw the winning numbers and I was elated,” he smiled. “I woke up my wife to tell her the good news!”
The father and grandfather plans to use his winnings to put a down payment on a house. “This is a very good feeling!” he concluded.
LOTTO 6/49 players in Ontario have won over $13 billion in prizes since 1982, including 1,401 jackpot wins and 369 Guaranteed $1 Million Prize draws. LOTTO 6/49 is $3 per play and draws take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
